Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Patiala Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

I have been to 3 other NLUs so far and our infrastructure when compared to those is far better. The only issue though is that we are from main town of Patiala. Facilities are well maintained, our campus is lush green, and new construction is on as well. Our academic block, auditorium, and library are well equipped. Among amenities, we have a general store, ATM, a café and a recreation centre. In addition, an ambulance is there at the campus and a medical centre is inside the campus.

We have two fests and they are ‘Yaar Dildaar’ and ‘Ritvaan’. ‘Yaar Dildaar’ is a promotional fest where the culture of Punjab is promoted and Ritvaan is our main cultural fest. Besides them we also have, annual sports meet called ‘Zelus’ and in the sports, fest students and teams from other NLUs are invited. In addition, RGNUL provides avenues for research and publication in journals and research centers. It provides an extremely peaceful setting that extends across 50 acres with modern infrastructure. A well-equipped library with innumerable books, journals, and online resources, a moot court halls and seminar room for practical legal training, hostel facilities for students, are the amenities provided in the campus.

The happening campus life of RGNUL was unexpected as it is based in outskirts, but the transportation facilities are up to the mark despite being little expensive. Students keep going out of the college also the celebration of every festival makes festive season very memorable and enjoyable. RGNUL can also be termed as "party NLU". The campus is one of the best NLU campuses in the country, comprising buildings, such as the Academic Block, Administrative Block Hostel Buildings, library, Auditorium, Faculty and Staff Houses, Rose Garden, Playground field, basketball and table tennis court, and the facility area. The campus is located outside the city of Patiala near Sidhuwal village, where the travelling to station and bus can be an issue. The academic block comprises the classes and chambers of the professors. The campus was newly made in 2013, thereby making it modern and good in infrastructure. Moreover, talking about my favorite places at campus, there is GYM in the facility area and in boy's hostel. To take care of your health the RGNUL also promotes various sports activities with lush green grounds and good sports equipment and facilities, where you can pursue your any hobby in sport and in continuance of it.

The overall campus life is pretty good and decent, where the seniors are helpful and caring for you. Moreover, your batch mates who are coming to the university from all over the country help you in experiencing and learning different things in your academic and personal life. there is a sports fest held known as ‘Zelus’ every year where various law universities participate every year in different fields of games. Additionally, there are various clubs/centers at our university dealing with the specific field of law such as the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR), Moot Court Committee (MCC), and Centre for Advanced Study in Energy Law (CASEL).Read Full Review
