DRIEMS University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Cuttack

The DRIEMS University, Cuttack has a number of hostels within the campus to provide accommodation facilities to both male and female students separately. The hostels at the University are equipped with required amenities to provide a home-like atmosphere to the hostellers.

Around 11 hostels are available at DRIEMS University which can collectively accommodate 3250+ students. Also, the rooms available at the University’ hostels are spacious & fully furnished with beds, study tables, cupboards, etc. Each room can accommodate around 2-4 students.

Students getting admission in the hostels of the University need to pay the accommodation fee, mess charges, etc. Moreover, mess charges need to be paid through the bank only. The DRIEMS University hostel fees (including mess) is Rs. 75,000/- per annum.

The hostellers need to follow the rules and regulations formed by the respective authorities of the University; some of these are listed-below:

• The students residing in hostels must get back to their allotted accommodations before 6:00 PM.
• The hostellers are not allowed to indulge in any of the activities like smoking, drinking alcohol, consuming drugs, etc. If any students are found doing such activities then they have to face the punishment given by the respective authorities.
• During the University hours, the hostellers cannot stay in the hostel premises. However, in case of any genuine reason, the students can stay in their hostel room by taking prior permission from the authorities.
• Organising any celebration, playing loud music, and talking loudly are not allowed within the hostel premises.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited within the hostels. In case of such events, legal action will be taken against the responsible student.
• The hostellers will be solely responsible for keeping any valuable items at the hostels such as mobile, laptops, money, jewelry, etc.
• Keeping any illegal or harmful weapon within the hostel premises will be considered as a punishable offence.
