Shri Ram College of Commerce New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our college infrastructure is good (not excellent, rather it's infrastructure is the best in comparison to other colleges of Delhi University, but in comparison with Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) it's is not better than these management colleges). The buildings are very big and there are many floors in the building (some blocks have 2 floors while other blocks have 3 floors). There are around 10- 15 classes on every floor. There is also one lift in every block for persons with disabilities (PWD students) and there is also a separate specific canteen/cafe for disabled students. There are 4 computer labs for computer related subjects and a very huge library with 2 floors. Our college auditorium is also very nice and big. There is also a sports complex in our college.

Our college, Shri Ram College of Commerce has beautiful campus and wonderful study environment. It is the top college under Delhi University in terms of its overall campus life. As regards to its crowd, I have observed that almost every single student is very helpful and friendly by nature. I haven't seen even a single student abusing in campus. As fests were conducted every year in every college of Delhi University, in most of the colleges I have seen students fighting even on silly issues but fests of Shri Ram College of Commerce had never suffered from this problem. Each and every fests, events, conferences, workshops, etc. have been conducted in a very peaceful and beautiful manner. Our college societies are also very good and many students have won uncountable prizes, trophies, gifts, and what not. Our college campus is one of the oldest colleges in Delhi. It was established in 1926. The building is a heritage building approved by Government of NCT of Delhi and is maintained regularly by Administrative Council and Delhi Government. All the rooms are Centralised Air-Conditioned. All rooms are very spacious and have projector. College has an Accounts Office, Admin Office, and Staff Room. Now the additional portal cabin is being setup near the sports complex. College has a library with over 80000 books, a reading hall, Arun Jaitley Sports Complex, a sport ground, and girls’ common room. The security in the college is very good. You have to show your ID card before entering the college.

The college has over 60+ societies. Most of the students are pursuing CA here and our classes are generally held from 9 to 5. The Student Union organise the Business Conclave, Asia's largest undergraduate management fest where college invite the eminent personalities like Union Ministers and Industrialists. Student Union also organise Crossroads, second biggest fest of Delhi University after Mecca of Hindu College. Most of the societies overburden the students with lots of work. They keep the meetings mostly at night after 11 PM. I recommend you to join at least 1 society and most 2 societies.Read Full Review

The building is quite aesthetic, the red brick buildings with a clock tower, and college full of greenery is a scene to watch out for. The overall infrastructure is also very nice with a very large library and Wi-Fi installed on the campus. The classrooms are also very good. There are only a few Delhi University Colleges with air conditioners, so this factor should also be considered.

I am quite satisfied with the overall campus life, it took me some time to adjust myself to this highly competitive institute and to mix up myself with students coming from all parts of India. I am yet to make good friends, SRCC is considered the best college when it comes to fests and events. People have a misconception that it is all about academics but that is not true rather it is only 10% about academics and the rest 90% covers extracurriculars.Read Full Review
