TISS Mumbai Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The institute gives hostel only for the first year students. After that you have to look for your own accommodation for the remaining years. You will get PGs and rented rooms and apartments around the campus. There are 6 hostels with good facilities for students. The staff is also friendly, not implying that everyone is so.
The hostels are usually clean. Just the toilets are satisfactory but other facilities are really good. The rooms are good but they put you in it with other students, usually 3 to 4 in one room, which is congesting sometimes. But you adjust over the period and if luxury is your goal then don't stay in the hostels. If you are here to study you will have to make slight adjustments and compromises. You will have challenges, but it will teach you the greater lessons for life.Read Full Review
