Affiliated to Anna University, the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Coimbatore. Since its inception in 2009, it has been providing innovative education with the help of modern teaching methods, significant research, and industry interaction. Approved by AICTE, the institute is accredited by NBA and NAAC with A Grade and is recognised by Department and Scientific and Industrial Research.

The vision of the institute is to work towards creating a positive environment at the institute so that young minds can make a difference in the society. It also aims to make the students competent so they can offer innovative solutions to modern problems.

The institute has 12 departments and cutting-edge research centres along with 60+ laboratories. The institute offers 12 UG and 4 PG courses including:

• B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering
• B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science & Business systems, Information Technology
• M.E. in CAD/ CAM, Computer Science and Engineering, Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and VLSI Design
