BIT has a Training and Placement Team which focuses on shaping the professional lives of the students with the help of proper training and on-campus placement opportunities. The major role played by this T&P Team is:

• To sharpen the basic professional skills of the students like communication, soft and technical skills.
• To provide the students with proper career counseling after monitoring the students grasping and learning skills.
• To provide the students with winter school program training and summer internships so that the students can have an on-field experience.
• To upgrade the student's interview knowledge by conducting mock interviews along with other job clarification tests.

A lot of companies have tie-up with BIT and many BIT students are working in companies like ITC Limited, Areteans, Aspire Systems, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, WIPRO, Decathlon, Britannia, Bosch, TITAN, TVS, Royal Enfield, Ford, Intel, Cisco, Festo, etc.

Located at Sathyamangalam, Erode District, Tamil Nadu, BIT has state-of-the-art infrastructure with the campus spread over an area of 181 acres surrounded by a lush green environment. The institute has all the basic and modern facilities required in an academic campus by the students for an excellent higher education experience. These amenities and facilities are:

• Hostels: The institute has modern, well-constructed, and modern hostel facilities for the students. The boys’ hostel has four blocks and all four blocks can accommodate more than 2500 boys and there are 900+ rooms. On the other hand, the girls’ hostel has seven blocks with 600+ rooms in total and can accommodate up to 600+ students. All the rooms in the hostels are comfortably furnished, clean, properly kept, and safe. The hostel owns a modern mess area with a kitchen that serves high-quality hygienic food items cooked in a clean space.
• Sports: The institute has proper sports facilities for girls and boys. The institute has massive sports grounds and all the basic equipment for the students to play and stay fit. The total playfield of BIT is built in an area of 574580 sq ft and the indoor game facility is built in a space of 57400 sq ft. BIT has internal and external sports facilities like javelin throw, handball, kabaddi, hockey, football, carom, pool table, chess, cricket, discus throw, long jump, etc.
• Other Facilities: ATM, gym, auditorium, labs, canteen, Wi-Fi, laundry facility, medical facility, seminar hall, transportation, etc.
