Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad has modern facilities and state-of-the art infrastructure to provide students a positive learning environment. Moreover, there are various academic and non-academic blocks which comprise facilities for disabled-friendly people.
CBIT Hyderabad is spread across a sprawling land of more than 50.32 acres and has a built-up area of approximately 59,664 square meters. Moreover, the Institute’s campus houses multiple amenities including classrooms, laboratories, library, hostel, canteens, transportation, and many more.
The CBIT campus helps students to experience a convenient and lively academic life. It has around 89 classrooms and about 15 tutorial rooms with adequate digital equipment to aid students with an audio-visual learning experience.
Moreover, there is an open-air auditorium namely, ‘Open Dias’ to conduct several events and functions. Furthermore, about 10 seminar halls are available to conduct seminars, conferences, and other academic programs.
Additionally, approximately 3 conference halls, about 12 board rooms, and 2 assembly halls are present at the premises of the Institute to conduct placements and career development related events.
Furthermore, nearly 4 workshops, R&E Hub, Wi-Fi connectivity, power-backup by generators, stationery store, parking area, and others are present at the Institute’s premises.

- Library: The library and Information Centre of the CBIT campus is located in an independent 2-storeyed building spread across an area of about 18,500 square feet. It has an accommodation capacity of about 350 students. Additionally, it houses a collection of more than 1,00,000 volumes, over 13,500 reference books, 15,000+ book bank books, 12,500+ project reports, 5000+ International and National journals, etc. Additionally, departmental libraries are present within the premises.
Moreover, there is a digital library with about more than 6000 e-books and a number of computing systems. Furthermore, other facilities including Book Circulation Section & Reprography are present on the ground floor, while the 1st floor contains the E-learning Resource Centre and Discussion Rooms.
- Laboratories: At the CBIT campus there are more than 47 computer labs comprising about 2409 updated systems, about 12 servers, nearly 186 laptops, and 135+ printers with high-speed internet facility. Moreover, the multiple departments such as Biotechnology, Civil, Computer Engineering and Technology and others have their own research-based lab.
Some of the departmental labs include Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulic Machines lab, Solid Mechanics lab, Genetic Engineering lab, and Microbiology lab.
- Sports: World-class infrastructure for outdoor sports are provided by the Department of Physical Education on an area of around 1,64,889 square feet. It includes a sports building, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Volleyball Courts, Throw Ball Court, etc.
Furthermore, a multitude of amenities are available for indoor sports including a stadium with 2 wooden floored Badminton Courts, about 15 Carom Boards, 6 Table Tennis Tables, 20 Chess Boards, and others.
- Hostel: There are on-campus CBIT Hostels for male students which can accommodate more than 520 students in 2 residential blocks i.e., Senior & Juniors. Moreover, privately managed residential facilities are available for both boys’ and girls’ nearby the campus of the Institute.
Additionally, the rooms of the hostels are allotted on the basis of multiple occupancies and are furnished with basic amenities. In addition to this, students are served hygienic food in the dining halls by the mess and are provided adequate security with assistance of personnel and CCTV surveillance.
- Canteen: There is a fully-furnished and spacious canteen available at the CBIT campus to serve students a number of delicious snacks and meals at nominal prices.
- Transportation: A fleet of around 50 buses is present at the Institute’s premises to facilitate students’ safe and secure commute from the campus.
