BMCC Pune

BMCC College Pune has a Placement Cell that facilitates career opportunities to the students so that they can apply for a suitable job role which aligns with their academic interest. A number of activities are conducted by the BMCC Pune Placement Cell to help students understand the current job trends and equip them with real world skills so that they can become a professional employee.

The cell has built corporate connections with Deloitte, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS, KPMG, L&T Infotech, HSBC, and many other companies in order to provide attractive job offers to the students.

Both scholastic and recreational amenities are present for the students within the well-maintained BMCC Pune Campus covering approximately 12.71 acres of land area. Several classrooms are available at the educational Institution’s premises which consist of various digital tools to boost student collaboration.

The overview of the amenities present at the campus of BMCC College Pune is as follows:

• Library: Advanced academic resources are available in the multi-storeyed library of the College that contains National & International journals, rare books, books, CDs & DVDs, etc. There are about 2 reading halls in the library and the seating capacity of the same is 60 and over 300. Students can also access the digital library (for e-resources), Resource Centre (for visually challenged people), reprographic services, and other facilities at the library.
• Laboratories: The campus of Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce comprises numerous computer labs with a number of PCs with advanced software & hardware to facilitate students with hands-on training and learning. Besides this, the departments which are formed at the College feature separate labs to fulfill the requirements of the course curriculum. Some of these departmental laboratories include Language lab, Accounting lab, etc.
• Auditoriums: There are approximately 3 ICT-enabled auditoriums at the BMCC College Pune campus namely ‘Padma Vibhushan Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla’ (it is an auditorium-cum-conference hall), ‘Tata Assembly Hall’, and ‘BMTRC A/V Hall’. The accommodation capacity of these auditoriums ranges from around 50 to 600 individuals.
• Seminar Hall & Conference Rooms: Numerous seminar halls & conference rooms are present at the BMCC Pune campus with requisite digital equipment which serves as a venue for various formal meetings, academic events, workshops, etc.
• Canteen: A canteen / food court with sufficient seating capacity is there within the premises of the College to offer diverse variety of food, snacks, and beverage options to the students.
• Hostels: The BMCC Pune Hostel facilities are provided to both male and female students separately along with amenities like attached washroom in the rooms, mess, reading room, 24/7 security, medical aid, etc.
• Sports: There are spacious & huge playgrounds available at the College premises including a Basketball Court so that interested students can indulge in outdoor sports activities. The available playgrounds can be utilised for several games like Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, and many more. Also, a ‘Pittie Hall’ is present which incorporates facilities for numerous indoor games such as TT, Carrom, Chess, Badminton, and others at the BMCC Pune campus.
  Students can also access the available gymnasium which is fully-equipped with top-notch fitness tools & equipment to balance their physical growth with academics.
• Other Facilities: Meeting Rooms, Assembly Halls, Maitree Audio Visual Hall, etc.
