Sri Krishna Arts and Science College

The Placement Cell / Training & Placement Division at the Autonomous College is available for providing career guidance and job assistance to the students. The cell has made connections with several companies to offer National and International employment offers to the deserving students.

Before the cell conducts the Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Placement drives, it makes sure that students are equipped with adequate skills to secure their dream job. For the same, below-given activities are conducted:

In past, companies that have visited the campus for hiring purposes includes Accenture, Flipkart, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, Genpact, KPMG, Lenskart, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and so on.

Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Campus is fully developed on a land of more than 50 acres comprising both academic and non-academic facilities.

Multiple classrooms & lecture halls with facilities like smart boards, sound system, etc. are available inside the campus to provide quality learning to the students in a smart way.

Following pointers contains the SKASC Coimbatore campus facilities which students can access as per their convenience:

• Library: A Central Library has been set up inside the campus with multiple numbers of books, National & International journals, periodicals, references, and so on. At the library, several sections for the students to access are available such as a reference section, TV rooms, a video conferencing room, group study rooms, a research scholars’ room, a career guidance section, a book bank section, etc.
  Also, a digital library equipped with various updated systems is present for helping students in their academics by learning from online resources. Additionally, the campus has departmental libraries.
• Laboratories: Within the College’s campus, Computer Laboratories are there with advanced systems and Wi-Fi facilities for the students to enhance their technical skills. Along with this, the campus is equipped with departmental laboratories like:
  • Biotechnology Lab
  • Psychology Lab
  • Electronics Circuit Lab
  • DSP & VLSI Lab
• Auditorium: A multipurpose air-conditioned auditorium named ‘Sri Krishna Hall’ is available with seating space for around 4000 individuals. This place of the College is supported by IT infrastructure for conducting large scale events and programs.
• Seminar Halls & Conference Room: Within the SKASC Coimbatore campus, seminar halls are present with LCD Projectors, personal computers, interactive boards, and audio systems. The accommodation space of these halls range from 120 to 250 students. Also, the College has an AV conference room & council hall with modern IT facilities.
• Other Spaces: At the College’s campus, several spaces like convention hall with around 500 student’s space and open air theatre (OAT) with 600 student’s capacity are present. All these spaces at the College are utilised to conduct several events, workshops, and other activities.
• Cafeteria: Quality and variety of cuisines are offered to the students by the cafeteria available at the College. A food court with multiple cafes & bistros is present along with a bakery and kiosk in the Students Amenities Centre.
• Hostels: Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately. In total, more than 250 rooms are present in the hostels which can collectively accommodate 700+ students. Dining facility is offered to the students at the hostels. Along with this, other amenities include cafeteria, medical centre, gym, security, sports, and others.
• Sports: A Stadium is present within the SKASC College campus with flood lights and has seating facility for around 500 students along with about 1500 gallery seating space. The stadium includes Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Courts, Cricket Net Practices, Synthetic track 8-lane, Football Field with Artificial Turf, and others.
  The Sri Krishna Hall at the College includes multiple indoor games facilities for Badminton, Kabaddi, Chess, Table Tennis, etc. Also, a fitness centre or gym can be accessed by the students.
• Transportation: The College owns a fleet of AC and Non-AC buses which are used to facilitate transportation to the students across the different locations of the city. All the buses have adequate facilities like first-aid, control devices, CCTVs, etc.
• Healthcare: For offering medical services to the students inside the College premises, a Medical Clinic is available. Medical professionals including doctors and nurses are available for the same.
  Beside this, the College is tied-up with ‘M/s. Abirami Hospital Sundrapuram’ and also has an ambulance for emergency services.
• Others: Students' Amenity Centre which include a Boutique Shop, Book Shop, and others, ATMs, Reprography Shops, Parking, and so on.
