My College Life in SKASC Coimbatore: Academics, Activities, & Placement

Overall Rating
Overall experience was good here and I chose this college because of its infrastructure and academics. I researched about this college and found it best suited to my interests and also it was near to my home, so I chose it.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to study Microbiology because of its scope in future. Admission process was very easy and the eligibility criterion is to get a decent percentage in high school. Exams are held twice in a sem and the academics prepare me for real life. This course is great if you have interest in Bioscience field and Microbiology related content.
The fee is Rs. 40,000/- per semester. SC/ST students get additional discount in the fees through scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Facilities are very friendly and our bonding is very good with them. Smart boards, PPTs and group discussions are used for teaching. Assignments are also given once in a while to recall those stuffs. Their problem solving abilities are great. The teacher student ratio would be 70:30.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very good and most of the students get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is the best with neat environment. It also has some canteens and vending machine inside it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is the main thing of why I came to this college. Classes are very spacious, well equipped labs, seminar halls and transport facilities are there. My favourite part about this college would be the events that take place in our auditorium.
 

Campus Rating
Overall college crowd is high. Many clubs are available in this college and campus life is the best. Many events are held with various departments participating. Extracurricular activities are held frequently and conferences are held once in a semester. Overall it is a great experience to be here.

    Overall Rating
    The college infrastructure is very good. The campus is big and has many facilities. The sports infrastructure is very good and has different facilities like synthetic athletic track, grass football ground, etc. There are a few downsides though, as no cultural festivals or events are conducted in this college.     Overall Rating
    It was an excellent experience and proud to say that I'm a student of SKASC. It has great placement opportunities from many reputed companies and most of the students get placed. Very good infrastructure with pleasant environment surrounded by greenery that gives good climate in SKASC. It also give canteen facilities with good food and various shops for stationary, Xerox which are located inside the campus.     Best infrastructure with different updated technologies. Good placement opportunities by big companies. Placement trainings were provided. Great support from faculties and encourages students to achieve more.     SKASC has been reaccredited by NAAC rating of 'A grade. And is known for having one of the cleanest Campuses across the Institute, they also motivate the students to have their classroom cleaner. The management also focuses on having an Anti Ragging campus, and they are successfully doing so.
