The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad has a traditional campus with World-class amenities amidst the lush green environment. Additionally, ramps, lifts, signboards, and other such facilities are present at the premises for ease of physically disabled students.
The campus area of the JNTU Hyderabad is over 89 acres. Moreover, within the JNTU Hyderabad campus, classrooms, library, conference halls, residences, canteen, internet, computer laboratories, gymnasium, seminar halls, auditoriums & many other academic and non-academic facilities are present.
The JNTU Hyderabad campus comprises an extensive range of interactive facilities to provide a conducive learning atmosphere to the students. The academic buildings of the Institution have several ICT enabled classrooms outfitted with projectors, smart boards, etc.
Along with this, ‘CRC Seminar Hall’ and several others have been developed at the JNTU Hyderabad campus. Also, the seminar halls present at the premises are of different accommodation sizes. The sitting capacity of e-seminar halls range from 75 to 350 students which are used to organise training sessions & other events. Whereas, mini-seminars can accommodate nearly 15 to 35 students at a time. There is also ‘Golden Jubilee Conference Hall’ along with other department specific conference halls.
Moreover, for the conduction of the large scale events & programs, the University has a beautifully developed auditorium called ‘Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium’ with the sitting capacity of 1000+ students. Also, there is another auditorium named ‘UGC Auditorium’ where more than 300 students can be seated at a time.

- Library: A 3-floored library of the campus has a built up area of approximately 45,000 square feet. Moreover, it is stacked with 93,440+ books, 185+ National & Foreign journals, 4200+ thesis & dissertations, and various other educational materials. Besides this, remote access, reprographic, conference hall (nearly 50 student capacity), specialised workstations, reading room, AV room, & so on are other facilities provided to the students. The University also has several departmental libraries.
In addition to this, a digital library present at the 2nd floor has nearly 70 systems, updated servers, NAS Box, etc. where students can access 30,560+ e-journals, 3,530+ e-books, and other online resources from Elsevier, SpringerLink, & other databases.
- Laboratories: About 10 fully-equipped computer laboratories are available within the JNTU Hyderabad campus. Around 5 of the computer labs have seating arrangements for about 60 students (each) & other 5 computer labs can accommodate nearly 30 students in each. Furthermore, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and other departments of the University
Some of the departmental labs are Pharmacognosy Lab, Water Quality Lab, Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab, Analytical Synthesis Labs, etc.
- Sports: The JNTU Hyderabad campus has a multitude of sports amenities for the overall development of the students. There are nearly 4 Badminton Courts, 3 Basketball Courts (2 Outdoor & 1 Indoor), a Volleyball Court, Football Field, Cricket Ground, etc. Besides this, a dedicated indoor stadium has numerous facilities for the games like Carom, Chess, Table Tennis, etc. A swimming pool is also present within the campus.

The hostels such as ‘Godavari’, ‘Krishna’, ‘Kinnera’, ‘Gayathri’, etc. have a wide range of fully-furnished rooms in different occupancy types. Apart from this, the JNTU Hyderabad Hostels have rooms, dining hall, reading room, TV hall, and many other amenities to enhance the living experience of the students.
- Canteen: The canteen serves delicious and hygienic snacks & meal options to the students at reasonable prices.
- Medical: For providing round the clock medical services to the students, the JNTU Hyderabad campus contains a ‘Health Centre’, having around 4 general wards & consultation rooms (each), full-time competent staff, and other adequate amenities.
