IMED Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Several IMED Pune hostel blocks are present in the campus to accommodate male and female students. The Institute allots the hostel rooms to the students on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis as limited seats are available. Also, adequate safety measures are adopted by the Institute in the hostels to keep the students safe.

Male and female students need to pay Rs. 1,03,000/- per annum as IMED Pune hostel fees. Admission to the hostels is applicable for an academic year only and for the continuation of the same, students need to apply again.

* Students have to pay the hostel fee of IMED Pune in the form of ‘Demand Draft’. Admission to the hostels will only be confirmed when students will pay the specified fees and submit an office copy of the Bank Challan in the hostel office.

The authorities of Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development hostels have formed strict rules for the male and female hostellers that they need to follow.

Some of the hostel rules are as follows:

• Curfew and Attendance
  • Residents have to follow the curfew timings strictly and must go back to their hostels before the specified hours.
  • It is necessary for the hostellers to be present at the time of roll call.
  • Students need to get prior permission from the authorities if they are staying outside the hostel premises after the specified curfew timings.
• Discipline and Safety
  • Ragging, bullying, and sexual harassment are serious & offensive crime and students should avoid such practices within the hostel and Institute’s premises or disciplinary actions will be taken against them.
  • Hostellers can keep valuable items or excessive cash with them at their own risk as the authorities will not be held responsible in case of any theft.
  • Consumption or possession or alcohol, drugs, and other intoxicated substances are strictly prohibited for the students in the hostel & Institute’s premises.
• Rooms and Hostel Property
  • Rooms cannot be swapped by the hostellers after the allotment is done by the authorities.
  • Students have to switch off the electric items like lights, fans, etc. while leaving their room.
  • Damage to any hostel property will lead to penalty and strict actions will be taken against the defaulter.

Residential facilities are available separately for boys and girls with requisite amenities inside the IMED Pune Campus. A wide range of basic facilities such as bed, fans, lights, cupboards, chair, table, etc. are provided to the hostellers in the IMED Pune hostel rooms. Also, hygienically prepared meals are served to the residents in the dining halls / mess which have sufficient seating capacity.

There is a recreational hall in the hostels that has TV and facilities for indoor games as well. Apart from this, hot water and Wi-Fi facilities are available in each hostel to enhance the overall living experience of the students. Required medical facilities are there at the hostels for emergency purposes and CCTV surveillance is also installed across the common areas & premises to keep the students safe.
