Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School Pune was founded in 2014 with the vision of engaging learners with quality management education to understand the ever-changing requirements of the corporate world. It is a renowned college that functions under the Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society and is approved by the AICTE.

The college offers full-time postgraduate programs in management namely Post-Graduate Diploma in Management-Business Administration (PGDM-BA) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
The college also offers major and minor specialisations in some courses. Major specializations offered by the college include Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, and Financial Management. Minor specialization is offered in Disruptive innovation by the college.

To apply through offline mode, students can buy an Application Form from the campus and after filling in the details, submit it with the photocopies of the above-mentioned documents.
To apply online, students are required to visit the official website and fill out the Application Form and submit it with the photocopies of the above-mentioned documents. The college will conduct the online admission procedure through online applications such as Zoom and Google Meet.
Students, who have cleared the entrance exams, have to go through an assessment process conducted by the college that includes Group Discussions and Personal Interviews to understand the personalities of candidates. The college then publishes a merit list of the students who have scored more than 70% in this assessment process on their official website. Students who pass these rounds become eligible to take admission to the PGDM courses offered by the college. The selected students are informed through SMS, email, or call at their convenience.
