There is a Training & Placement Cell at the Institute that provides students with updated insights of the corporate world and help them acquire necessary employability skills. The cell also conducts DYPIMS Akurdi Placement drives so that students can interact with prominent employers and secure employment & Internship opportunities from them.

The DYPIMS Akurdi Campus area is around 1.25 acres and it is surrounded by lush green surroundings. The Institute has set up requisite academic, administrative, residential, sports, and related recreational facilities at the campus.

A number of ICT-enabled classrooms & tutorial rooms with sufficient seating space are available at the Institute’s campus to provide a collaborative learning environment & interactive sessions to the students. Few of the classrooms have air-conditioned facilities.

• Library: Dr. DY Patil Institute of Management Studies Akurdi has a Central Library / Learning Resource Centre which can accommodate around 100 students at a time & contains dedicated areas like circulation counter, newspaper section, stack area, reference room, reprographic section, reading hall, and so on.
  Numerous academic materials such as domain-specific books, journals, magazines, CDs, etc. are available to expand the academic knowledge of the students. The library has an IT Zone with ample PCs to help students access the online databases and e-resources.
• Laboratories: The Institute focuses on enhancing the digital skills & knowledge of the students and for that a computer centre & multiple labs with sufficient number of PCs and internet connection are available at the campus. The Institute has also set up an English Language Lab for the students to develop communication and other essential skills.
• Remaining Spaces: A 200-seater auditorium and 100-seater seminar hall with air-conditioned facility, multimedia projector, screen & sound system are present at the campus to organise academic & recreational activities in respective spaces.
• Canteen: A spacious canteen offering diverse range of hygienic meals & beverages at concessional rates is present inside the premises of DYPIMS Pune where around 150 students can be seated at once.
• Hostels: Both male & female students can reside separately in the DYPIMS Akurdi Hostels that contains requisite facilities like fully-furnished rooms, mess, round-the-clock security, common room, Wi-Fi, water heaters, etc.
• Sports: For the holistic development of the students, adequate sports amenities are present in the campus. Amenities for indoor games like Carrom, Chess & Table Tennis are there in the common room of the Institute. Apart from this, dedicated grounds & courts are available for Volleyball, Basketball, Football, & related outdoor games. Inter-College championships are organised to develop sportsmanship among the students.
• Healthcare Facilities: Dr. DY Patil Institute of Management Studies Akurdi ensures that students get immediate medical attention and a ‘Sick Room’ with multiple beds and facilities are available for the same. Also, first-aid boxes are present at each floor of the respective buildings.
