MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) started its operation in the year 1999 under the aegis of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER) in Pune, Maharashtra. It is an Autonomous Private Educational Institution which is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

MITAOE Pune scholarships are granted to the meritorious students on the basis of prescribed eligibility requirements. Students are required to secure a competent score in the prescribed National / State-level entrance examinations. In addition to this, 5% of the total intake students in every branch of the respective course are eligible for the scholarships.
Along with the same, the scholarships will be granted in the form of fee waiver and students have to fill the application form for the scholarships to be eligible for the same.
