The MITAOE Pune campus is fully-equipped with necessary facilities for the students like library, gymnasium, laboratories, hostels, canteen / cafeteria, medical centre, etc. and covers a huge land area of approximately 17 acres.
The aesthetically designed campus of the Institute consists of more than 30 classrooms and 15+ tutorial rooms which feature several advanced & top-notch multimedia tools to promote experiential learning. At the campus of MITAOE Pune, an auditorium equipped with required audiovisual facilities is available and serves as the venue for numerous events, workshops, etc.
Around 2 centrally air-conditioned seminar halls are there inside the premises of the Institution with seating arrangements of about 350 students and acts as an ideal space for organising various exhibitions, conferences, etc. Besides this, numerous conference halls are available for meetings and other purposes.
Apart from this, the campus of the Institute comprises a parking area, CCTV surveillance, open-air amphitheatre, and a diverse range of other facilities for the students.
The details about several facilities which are present at MITAOE Alandi Pune campus are given below:
- Library: Inside the Institute premises, a central library spread on an 850 square meters area is present within the Takhshila building. It consists of over 11,300 titles, 49,200+ volumes, 130+ journals / magazines, 930+ bound volumes, and other educational resources through which students can acquire additional knowledge. A digital library is also there with around 10 advanced systems so that students can access more than 7000 e-books and numerous e-academic resources available through various databases.
Within the central library, an air-conditioned reading hall is available to provide a peaceful & conducive learning space to around 250 students at a time. Apart from this, book bank facility, journal section, reprographic services, document scanners, reference section, and other modern amenities are present.
- Laboratories: Computer laboratories are there inside the MITAOE Pune campus featuring a large number of high-technology systems to facilitate students with practical & dynamic learning experience. Departments such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, etc. are available at the Institute which comprise around 76 labs with a fundamental objective of imparting course-aligned practical knowledge.
Network lab, Data Processing lab, Cyber Security lab, AIML lab, Design lab, and Multimedia & Graphics lab are few of the departmental laboratories that can be accessed by the students.
- Sports: The authorities at the Institute understand the importance of students’ physical growth and that is why it provides top-notch sports infrastructure. Around 2 outdoor grounds are there at the MITAOE Pune campus out of which one covers an area of about 53,820 square feet where students can play several games like Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, etc. Besides this, Volleyball and Basketball Court are also present.
An indoor sports room / hall is available on-campus which features amenities of several games including Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom which students can access during their free time.
- Hostel: To offer secure & private living space to both male & female students, separate hostels namely ‘Vivekanand’, ‘Eklavya’, ‘Ambika’, and others are available. Also, the overall accommodation capacity of girls & boys hostels is around 188 & 198 students, respectively.
The rooms available for the students at MITAOE Pune Hostels are available on 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 sharing basis and feature a bed, wardrobe, study table & other such facilities. Hostellers can access several facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry service, dining amenities, and others during their stay.
- Canteen: At the MITAOE Pune campus, several canteens / cafeterias are present which provides a comprehensive variety of dishes, snacks & beverages to satisfy the food requirements & choices of all the students. These dining spaces can easily accommodate approximately 150 students at once.
- Medical Facilities: A medical clinic / centre is there at the Institute’s campus with a doctor and other requisite facilities like beds, medicines, etc. Students can consult with the available doctor for any kind of medical issue / injury / regular checkups. Ambulance service is also available in order to make sure that students suffering with any medical emergency can be commuted to nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
- Gymnasium: A fully-equipped gymnasium is available at the MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi Pune campus comprising a diverse variety of fitness equipment so that students can ensure that they can maintain their fitness & health along with academics.
- Banking: There is an ATM present on-campus so that students can easily get monetary services. Also, the educational Institution is linked with ‘Union Bank’ to provide easy access to various banking facilities.
A diverse range of recreational clubs are available at the MITAOE Pune campus to focus on the comprehensive development of the students as they can take part in the events / activities organised by the same to uplift several essential social skills.
