MITAOE Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pune

The Institute has 2 separate hostels for boys and 2 for girls with the total accommodation capacity of 198 and 188 students, respectively. The MITAOE Pune hostels include ‘MIT Vivekanand Boy’s Hostel’, ‘MIT Ahilya Girl’s Hostel’, and others.

The students staying at the hostels of MITAOE Pune are provided a home-away-from-home experience with adequate facilities including fully-furnished rooms, Wi-Fi connection, sports, mess, 24/7 security, and much more. The yearly MITAOE Alandi Pune hostel fees range from Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,05,000/-.

The MITAOE Alandi Pune hostel fees are variable depending on the accommodation type chosen by the students. The annual fees to be paid for availing hostel facilities are given below:

* Apart from the above-mentioned hostel fees, a one-time refundable deposit of Rs. 10,000/- will be charged from the students.

To maintain discipline inside the residential spaces and promote harmony among hostellers, certain regulations are to be followed:

• Ragging and bullying of fellow boarders is strictly not permitted in the MITAOE Pune hostel. Disciplinary action shall be taken against those who are found to be indulging in any such activities.
• Boarders should properly maintain the MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi Pune hostel’s properties; in case of any damage, appropriate fines will be charged from the defaulters.
• Consumption of liquor, cigarettes, and other such intoxicants is banned inside the hostel premises. Additionally, hostellers should not possess any lethal weapons, and obscene articles.
• Residents should make certain that they return to the hostel before the specified curfew timings to avoid any penalties.
• Students should maintain a quiet and disciplined environment in the residential spaces and should not host any parties or events or play loud music.
• The rooms will be allotted to the students by the concerned authorities. Complaints about changing / exchanging rooms will not be tolerated under any conditions.
• Hostellers should not possess electronic items such as induction, iron press, cooler, etc. in their rooms.
• Residents should not keep excessive cash and expensive items in their rooms; the hostel authorities will not be responsible for any loss.

There are around 4 hostels that are separately available for the male and female students in close proximity to the MITAOE Pune Campus.

The MITAOE Pune hostel rooms are provided to the students on a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6-occupancy basis along with the necessary amenities like bed, mattress, pillow, bedsheet, study table, chair, wardrobe, shoe rack, etc. The staff of the ‘Rector Office’ dedicatedly looks after the routine affairs and administration of the hostel.

Other than this, security personnel are deployed and CCTV surveillance is available round the clock to provide a secure environment to the students.
