Ramnarain Ruia College Placements: Average & Highest Package 2025, Mumbai

A BMM fresher can easily earn up to 25k in Mumbai because most of the students of our course have done their internships in large media houses or news publications. Since, I was interested in journalism; I got my opportunity with Sakal which is one the leading Marathi publication houses in Maharashtra. In internship we were paid nothing. Like legit nothing and made to work like animals. I still didn’t give up because I knew that after graduation too, I will be an intern and the only difference would be that I would be a paid intern. The college only provided us internships as there were no campus placements. Some of the interns were hired with 25k while some like me were offered as low as 10k. For BA there were no placements and no means not a single company or the college’s placement wing even asked us about placements. B.Sc students had a nice placement session but college couldn’t find a single company that could show interest in B.A. students. Job was not on list but at least we should have been given a chance. I hope a turnaround should have happened because these days craft is being appreciated more and there are many companies that do needs such crafty people.Read Full Review
