Shanti Business School Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

Shanti Business School is an underrated college as many students avoid it as they feel the degree provided by the college is not valid. The student intake is therefore quite less but no point deferring because the college is one of the best. Infrastructure is epic, students are brilliant and sharp, and faculties were so dear that I have made them my mentors for life. The college offers PGDM in various discipline and the first year remains the common for all. More than campus, it was beyond classrooms activities that made SBS a step above the rest. The number of industrial visits, case studies solving, and joining live projects was equal to that of IIM Ahmedabad. A special for college library as it remained open for students till 10 pm. We made that a banter house as in 2 years at Shanti Business School, I hardly went home right after the classes. Being a Shantian was a proud moment but the Covid-19 ruined last important programs and I still wish; I could live those moments again at the college.Read Full Review

SBS has good name in Ahmedabad and students of SBS are called Shantian. I was mad about this college since my graduation years. However, the college is more about advertisements than reality. It is close to good but definitely can’t be called good as of now. The faculty were great as they were legends in their field and one thing that college has done well from the high fees that they take from us is hire, some of the best teachers for us. Among few positives that I can call out for the college are great faculties, corporate ready at the end of the course, excellent infrastructure, a nice mentorship program, and tech savvy. If there are positives then there are some negatives as well, Placements for MBA students are not up to mark, alumni network is not so strong, and last but not the least the high fees. The placements were less than the fees that they charged which was a little disappointing. There are many specialization areas for students in marketing like rural marketing, and marketing analytics. No restrictions were imposed on students and we can be as discrete as we want. SBS’s performance in top B-school’s competitions have been great and I will again credit the intelligent faculties for that.Read Full Review
