SBS Ahmedabad Focuses on Holistic Development of Students

Overall Rating
The overall experience, which I had in SBS Ahmedabad is great where students can discuss the business ideas in the Business Incubation Room. The main factor, which I liked about the Institute, is the faculties as they always motivate to the students if they feel drained and nervous regarding any group presentations. The counselling sessions are held for students who want to share their personal problems to them one on one basis. I have selected this Institute because I could not able to find an Institute, which has dedicated hostels.
 

Academics Rating
The overall admission process is not so difficult. A student with basic communication can easily pass personal interview round and they did not conducted group discussion round for students of other states whereas local students have go through both the GDPI round. Since it is a tier 3 Institute, you could not find tough peer pressures. If I would talk about academic point of view, the semester exams were not so difficult to crack if the students attend the class regularly. Institute conducts mentoring session as well for students, which I personally liked it.
The registration or admission fee, which was charged for me for admission, was Rs. 65,000/-. They have charged the tuition fees for total four installments was Rs. 7,85,000/-, excluding hostel fees. Since I have taken the hostel on double sharing basis, I have to deposit Rs. 2,95,000/- total for two years.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties of the Institute follow friendly approach towards the students. Most of them are Ph.D holders from their respective fields. They had a huge experience in teaching. They are always solving doubts at the end of every class, which is a good parameter for student’s mind of thinking. They try to make the lessons clear so that even an average student can comprehend the things easily.
 

Placement Rating
The placement scenario of Shanti Business School Ahmedabad is up to the mark. The companies start coming to the campus after the 3rd semester. The Placement Committee ensures the students gets place to their dream companies by conducting aptitude tests and various mock drills in order to prepare for companies short listing process. The companies which come to the Institute are Nestle, ITC, EY, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute provides hostel facilities to the students who come from different states. It has basic amenities like an almirah, study table, a sink, washbasin, bathroom, and RO purified water. There is a separate hostel rooms for boys and girls. The Institute also provides mess facility to the students. 24/7 guards are there who ensures students is coming back to the hostel properly after venturing out outside the Institute. My personal experience is great with respect to the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of the Institute is good. It provides 24/7 Wi-Fi, library, common room (for boys as well as girls separately), a unique smart classrooms, a seminar room for attending guest lectures, and most important is the medical room. The campus size is around 7 acres and it is situated in Shela Off, Sardar Patel Ring Road, Ahmedabad, which is still developing. The Institute has a canteen & it provides students with a variety of food items. My experience is great in this Institute.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is satisfactory as this Institute does conduct fests for the students. Various sorts of festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm. The Institute clubs are quite interactive like marketing, HR, Finance, Cinematography, Book Reading, Debate, etc. The Institute crowd is decent. One of the events which I liked the most is ‘Bauddhika’ where students gets interacted among themselves more than they usually do in classrooms.

    Shanti Business School is an underrated college as many students avoid it as they feel the degree provided by the college is not valid. The student intake is therefore quite less but no point deferring because the college is one of the best. Infrastructure is epic, students are brilliant and sharp, and faculties were so dear that I have made them my mentors for life.   • SBS has some legendary faculties

    SBS has good name in Ahmedabad and students of SBS are called Shantian. I was mad about this college since my graduation years. However, the college is more about advertisements than reality. It is close to good but definitely can’t be called good as of now. The faculty were great as they were legends in their field and one thing that college has done well from the high fees that they take from us is hire, some of the best teachers for us.
