Academy of Technology Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Hooghly

I am a hosteller, So I can express my feelings. The Superintendent of the hostel has put so many rules and regulations that sometimes you will be confused to remember your studies or the rules of the hostel. The mess food is average do not expect much but at the end of each month you shall be treated to a mess feast which is a good thing. One room of the hostel will be shared by two. The Hostel has a big playground and a temple along the hostel. The only thing which irritates me is the rules of the hostel. It is hard to follow those rules. AOT shares two big hostels. The Hostel fee is 15k every semester and 30k every year. Apart from this approx Rs. 3000 is charged every month as the mess bill which consists of the food, electric and the water bill payments.. Hostel is moreover clean. But Hostel food starts to degrade day by day. Moreover There is lot of fun also in the hostel. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carom are there. And you can play cricket football, Basketball, Volleyball in the campus grounds. Every year Campfire, Hostel Premiere League (HPL) is organised by the seniors. Very good. There are two buildings. One for Boys hostel and another for girl’s hostel. Both the hostels have a male warden and a female warden for boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel respectively. They provide food for the hostel boys and girls every day. The quality of the meal is very good. They provide three times meal a day. So you will never be disappointed about it and no complaints on it that for guarantee.Read Full Review
