Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Infrastructure feels a bit old, as it has been 25 years since it was made. In the new building, centralised AC is there but in our class normal ACs are installed. Smart boards are not there. I have heard that there is a pad machine in girl’s washroom. Water cooler is installed in every block. There are 8 blocks for various departments. Indoor badminton court is there but they charge fees. Library is good and spacious. Canteen is small but good food is provided there.

Institute's crowd is good. Seniors are supportive. There are societies like Robotics, Drone, NCC, and NSS. However, annual culture fest is not conducted regularly. While events like, E-summits, standup comedies, etc. are conducted. College does not fund clubs properly; they lack funds for projects and events. The infrastructure is a bit old fashioned and MAIT New Delhi must be renovated. The campus size is about 15 acres. The college is very far away from the nearest metro station. The canteen is good at reasonable prices. Sports facilities are okayish like we have a main ground where football and cricket is played. Then, we have a badminton separate court, which is paid. The charges are Rs. 200 for an hour for four people. Then we have a gym, which can be have better equipment. In addition, there is a table tennis court. There is a basketball court. The favorite thing is the 11th Block, which is newly built in the college because it has a good infrastructure.

The college crowd is very decent and the cutting culture is fine. There are a lot of active societies and many fests, events take place very frequently. The campus life is good but not as good as tier 1 college. Overall decent college life. The main fest of a college is on a very big scale and last year. There are 11 blocks in MAIT New Delhi and all are interconnected with each other. Total campus area is small but well maintained. Locality is not that good but it is ok, Classrooms have capacity of 100 students and them ACs. There are 2 auditoriums, 1 main cafeteria, 5 small canteens, 1 sports ground, 1 medical block, and 1 library in our institute. Labs are well maintained with all the equipment.

Overall campus life is decent. There is not much to do outside but institute itself has many events and many active clubs. I am also part of 2 clubs. There is one main fest of our institute and Anugoonj from DU (that is really fun and good). We also celebrated silver jubilee of our institute last year.Read Full Review
