St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology Kottayam Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college is quite big as the area in which the college is spread is around 60 acres. Buildings are good both residential and academic buildings. The academic building is the best as we can only use the library of that building. The college is upward to hills so one will not face humid weather that exists in other parts of Kerala. Also, the campus has quite a bit of greenery so weather remains pleasant. There’s a medical team at the campus always and a canteen that only serves beverages, tea & coffee. So, it was all good about infrastructure other than the college bus. It was almost identical to dog catching vans. If you are six feet and above then better find some other means of commuting because it won’t be possible for you to stand tall inside the van.

I don’t want to even give a one star because the strictness was worse than a school. Once I left the college even without a job, I felt so blessed. The college has a fest with so much of limitations as costume check is mandatory because if you have worn something which hampers the college rules, your program will be cancelled. The campus is quite beautiful and also the locality in which the institute is located is one of the best. It is indeed a tourist town. All the buildings at the campuses were built keeping in mind the facilities that can make students' lives easy. There were common rooms with LED TVs as that was the only source of our entertainment. The campus has a nice canteen along with general and medical stores. I would say that the college is well equipped, and rather than spending all its cash here, they should focus on bringing the right people on board.

One will have the worst campus life experience at SJCET. The students face and shoulders were always dropped because not a single day would pass when one doesn’t receive a warning from the faculties or management for breaking or even trying to break one of the rules. If only positive that I can look at it that there are many sporting facilities at the campus and that’s the best hideout because that was the only way we could keep ourself out of other aspects of the campus which were no less than living a life in a jail.Read Full Review
