D.G. Ruparel College of Arts Science and Commerce Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Mumbai

There’s a boys hostel building on the campus but no girls hostel. This was sad to see as one of my cousins from Ahmadabad wanted to join the college but her parents refused as there’s no girls hostel. The management should look into this. The boy's hostel building is huge and accommodates nearly 75 students. Since I haven’t seen the building from inside, I don’t know how the rooms are. Interacting with some of the students that stay in the hostel, they said that the rooms are spacious and also have a very good mess.

Also, the hostel has all the basic facilities like mess, live running water, RO water for drinking and laundry services among many others. Ragging is strictly banned in the hostel and students getting involved in such acts are given severe punishments. There’s just a boy's hostel building with 20 rooms. Double and triple sharing options were made available to the students. The hostel was inside the college campus, and a private girl’s hostel is there in Matunga central. Flats and Paying Guests are not that expensive in Matunga and are available in abundance. Students from many other states made their presence felt as Ruparel is one of the most famous colleges in Mumbai.Read Full Review
