There are around 4 SIIB Pune hostels, out of which nearly 3 are available male students & one hostel is occupied by female students. These hostels are generally known as ‘Cherry Blossom Hostel’, ‘Dahlia Hostel’, ‘Gerbera Hostel’, etc.

Inside the residential buildings, students have an option to choose in different occupancies like single, triple, and quadruple. All such rooms are spacious, well maintained & furnished with necessary amenities & fixtures such as beds, storage spaces, study tables, chairs, and so on.

For a year, the Symbiosis Institute of International Business hostel fee is between Rs. 2,25,000/- to Rs. 3,36,500/- & it includes charges like room rent, mess, and refundable security deposit.

The SIIB Pune hostel authorities have set-up numerous rules and regulations for maintaining decorum & discipline at the residential arena. Students opting for hostel amenities need to strictly follow all such rules.

Below-listed are some of the major hostel rules and regulations:

Attendance & Curfew

• Boarders cannot leave hostel premises after 10:30 PM (except during medical emergencies).
• Attendance Timings: 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. After attendance, students are required to sign the attendance register & shall not leave the accommodation premises after this.

Hostel Leave Rules

• In case of an overnight stay, a hostel leave application is to be submitted by parents / local guardians 2 days prior to an intended leave period via e-mail.

Disciplinary Rules

• Inside the accommodation arena, all kinds of recreational activities are prohibited from 10:30 PM.
• Boarders should refrain themselves from playing loud music and making nuisance during silent hours i.e., 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM.

Prohibited Activities & Items

• Ragging in any form is strictly banned at the Institute’s hostels.
• Students are strictly banned from bringing, consuming or keeping intoxicating items such as liquor, cigarettes, prohibited drugs, and others at their hostel rooms.
• Wardens have the authority to confiscate items like electrical appliances such as e-kettle, iron, table fan, etc. once found in hostellers’ rooms.

General Rules

• Parking vehicles inside the arena is restricted.
• Hostellers should not cause deliberate damage to any hostel property.
• For organising birthday parties or other kinds of celebrations, students need to seek permission from the wardens in advance.

The Institute has nearly 4 hostels to offer safe and secured residences to outstation male & female students. For boys, there are around 3 hostels including ‘Cherry Blossom Hostel’, ‘Dahlia Hostel’, etc. Also, Dahlia Hostel is situated 100-metre away from the SIIB Pune Campus. • Residents should not shout, create loud noises, or screaming while having their meals at the mess.
