Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Well, the infrastructure is the best thing about AMU, having 1155 acres of huge campus. The Asia's biggest library is also here, which is known as Maulana Azad Library, which is a plus point to the students. In addition, the campus is very beautiful, all the departments and their classes and lecture theatres are well made and fully air-conditioned. Free Wi-Fi is also available for the students.

The campus life is just good at AMU. There are several clubs and various competitions are organized every month. Fests are organized in the halls. It celebrates Sir Syed Day every year and free dinner is served to students that day, either day scholars or hostlers. University is well lighted in that day.Read Full Review

AMU has good infrastructure; it has both retro and modern buildings. It has beautiful gardens like Gulistan-E- Syed and duck garden (it has actual ducks), sport complex, different clubs like horse riding club to debate club (I am part of this club) and world-famous library -Maulana Azad Library.

The campus life is fun and full of students who come from different parts of India and even from different countries. Every department has their own fests, and the main annual cultural festival is "SIR SYED DAY". This is when AMU students meet together and celebrate Founder’s Day. The campus of this University is huge and historic. Some classrooms are modern while some are outdated. The campus has a very big library and auditorium. Canteens are lively hub of discussion. The Medical Aid is also accessible. Walking through this heritage rich campus feels like walking around history itself. SS hall, library, and canteen are my favorites. Overall the campus is beautiful.

My campus life is peaceful and fulfilling. I'd rate this University 4/5. Evenings with friends and engaging in clubs and extracurricular activities keep it lively. The crowd is mostly from modest backgrounds. The University conducts events and fests on regular basis. Overall the campus life is the best.Read Full Review
