Sushant University, Gurgaon has a serene view campus and state-of-the-art infrastructure is there to fulfill the academic and recreational needs of students. In addition, there are around 6 academic blocks in the premises including A, B, C, D, E, and School of Law & they are equipped with requisite facilities.
Sushant University campus covers more than 12.85 acres of land with a built-up area of over 52,002 square meters. Moreover, the University has top-notch facilities like smart classrooms, fully-fledged libraries, modern labs, residential buildings, a medical room, sports complex, food outlets, and other such amenities to make the student’s campus experience more engaging.
The University ensures that students get top-notch facilities at their premises as it helps in their overall growth and development. At Sushant University Gurgaon campus, approximately 74 classrooms are present with white boards, projectors, screens & other amenities. Moreover, out of which, 40 classrooms are equipped with camera, mic, smart board, etc. to support blended learning. Furthermore, the campus has numerous lecture halls and studio rooms.
Apart from this, the University has built various recreational spaces such as an amphitheater, auditorium, seminar rooms, conference room & hall, meeting room, etc. with adequate seating arrangement to host academic events and cultural activities.
The Sushant University campus is equipped with requisite facilities and details regarding the same are stated below:
- Library: The University has an air-conditioned ‘Library Resource Centre’ (LRC) comprising 3 well-stacked libraries which are located in block B, E & School of Law to fulfill the academic needs of the students. Moreover, the library covers more than 11,634 square meters of land area and can accommodate 175 + students at once. Furthermore, it contains 23,113+ book titles, around 64 periodicals, more than 60 thesis, nearly 12 newspaper volumes, etc.
Additionally, students can access the e-portals to conduct advanced research through the digital library. Moreover, they can avail book borrowing, reprographic, reference, and other such services at the library.
- Laboratories: Within the academic blocks of the University, around 12 computer labs are present with 777+ desktops & laptops with Core i3 and i7 configuration. Apart from this, around 40 high tech labs including Surveying lab, Mechanical lab, Pharmacy labs, Physiology lab, and others are there in different departments / Schools of Engineering & Technology, Design, Business, etc.
Through these labs, students can develop necessary technical skills which help them in gaining hands-on experience in their field.
- Sports: Around 4 acres of the campus area is available for games & has a sports complex which includes around 2 Tennis Courts, 2 Volleyball Courts, Basketball Court, Cricket Pitch, Football Ground, separate changing rooms for boys & girls, and other such amenities. Besides that, professional trainers and coaches are present to provide guidance to the students.
- Hostel: A 6-storeyed residential building is present inside the University’s premises to offer accommodation facilities to boys and girls separately. At Sushant University Hostels, around 96 air-conditioned rooms are available in double, triple, and other occupancies which can collectively accommodate nearly 300 students.
Moreover, students residing in these hostels get furnished rooms (cupboard, bed, chair, and mattress), computer table with rack, dining room with TV, water coolers with RO services, 24x7 security, etc.
- Cafeteria: The University has a cafeteria, snacks bar, kiosks, ‘Café Coffee Day’ outlet, and other food facilities located in different areas of the campus offering quick refreshments, beverages, etc. to the students & other staff members.
- Transportation: Several free shuttle buses are available at Sushant University Gurgaon campus to provide transport services to the students commuting from Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and other areas.
- Healthcare Facility: A medical room with requisite equipment like blood pressure device, glucometer, oximeter, oxygen tank, etc. is present to provide immediate first aid treatment to the students and other people. Moreover, ambulance facilities are available at the campus to transfer the patient to hospitals for further treatment. Apart from this, experienced doctors visit the campus twice a week.
- Gymnasium: An indoor-gymnasium is present for the students within the Sushant University campus for regular workout sessions. In addition, the gym is equipped with treadmills and other necessary equipment.
The University has set up numerous clubs which organises extra-curricular activities and by joining those students can focus on individual growth & development. In addition to this, in order to prevent ragging, harassment, discrimination, and other such practices, the University has established various committees which focus on these issues.
