• Along with the above-mentioned fee, students need to pay one-time charges such as hostel registration fee of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) & security deposit of Rs. 15,000/- (refundable).
• Apart from the annual hostel fees, there are additional electricity charges for each room.
• In order to live at the University’s accommodations in the following academic year, students are required to re-register themselves for hostels by paying Rs. 20,000/-.
• In accordance with the refund policy of the Institution, the hostel fee can only be refunded prior to the beginning of an academic year.

The Sushant University hostel management has formed numerous rules and regulations for students to follow in order to maintain a peaceful atmosphere & to reside without any issues.

Below-listed pointers comprise description about the hostels’ rules & regulations:

• Inmates living at the on-campus hostels need to return to the campus by 8:00 PM. If students have to stay outside the campus past these timings due to academic reasons, they need to provide written authorisation from their respective HODs / Deans to the wardens.
• It is expected from the students to come back to the respective hostels until 9:00 PM. Also, they should only stay in their allotted rooms after 10:00 PM.
• Hostellers shall provide 24 hours prior information regarding their overnight stay. Moreover, students need to fill-in their entry / exit details in the designated register while leaving or coming back to the residences.
• Indulgence in unlawful activities such as ragging, bullying, harassing, etc. will not be tolerated at the University’s hostel spaces.
• Inmates shall vacate their allotted rooms within 2 days after the end of final exams, unless they have permission from the wardens in advance.
• While staying at the residential arena, boarders are strictly restricted from consuming / possessing alcoholic, narcotic, or any other intoxicating items.
• Students are not allowed to harm any of the hostel property. In case of damage, residents will have to bear the replacement or repair cost.
• Residents are advised to not to keep jewelry, cash, or any other valuable items. Furthermore, prior to going out of the accommodation complexes, students need to ensure that they have locked their rooms adequately.
• During their time at the accommodation premises, students are not permitted to keep or use speakers, loud music systems, or other such items in their rooms. The designated warden will seize all such items if residents are using these items within the hostels.
