ISBR Business School Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

ISBR was chosen as Christ had a tough criterion for admissions, and I didn't qualify for that. ISBR was referred to me by one of my friends who already studied International Business here. I have no issues studying here because placements may not be right up there or the facilities which Christ, IIM Bangalore, or the other top B-Schools of Bangalore has may not be there but there was peace and some good faculties who gave us the liberty to study the way we wanted. The skill set and the mind development are the two things that have been taught in PGDM or MBA and they have both been taught brilliantly over here. Even the placements at ISBE were great but many of the students already had their businesses to look after, so they came here to hone their skill sets rather than looking for a stable job after studies. I got my PGDM degree from ISBR Business School Bangalore. Our college is stationed in Times magazine for being in the best 100 universities for MBA in India. MBA was always on my mind, and going abroad was my initial plan, but as destiny would have wanted it, I had to Masters's in Bangalore. I wasn't a bright student, which led me to join ISBR, where admission criteria are minimal. Thus, you are one of those who need an MBA degree and a stable job, ISBR is not a bad option. The college asks for various scores, but at the end of the day, you will get your admission letter if they think you can pay fees and the other charges they ask each semester in the name of college funds and social activities. ISBR also conducts its own aptitude test, and even to get a seat from the management quota make sure you have appeared for that entrance. At ISBR, you will always have enough time to get in. Firstly, there is no Kannada culture here as every second individual here is from other parts of the country. I will confess that I came to know about this College during the final semester of my BBA. However, there were quite a few students, who said they have purposely come here. ISBR never puts pressure on students as every time the faculties will come in and start asking questions and punish us with assignments. There's an assurity with the students of ISBR that you see because we all were certain that placements will happen. We will all be leading a quality life over here and most importantly, we will learn the things that an MBA student in general should know. We stayed calm throughout our course and it felt like we owned this space. There was one confusion in both the years. I had a question to be answered during the farewell: was it the best year of my College life or was it the better year than my previous year's College life?
