Delhi Technological University New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is very big and has many buildings in it. There is lot of greenery inside the campus. The infrastructure of the university has two sides, because the campus is very old, it has many old buildings, which might need a little bit of renovation. The newer buildings have high tech classrooms. There are projectors in all the classes. There are several food outlets too along with a very big sports complex.

The campus life has been the best part of the university. While giving JEE I was always locked in my own room, but after coming to DTU, I have to know how actual campus life looks like. There are many clubs in the university of various domains like technology, non-tech, and core. Yes, I am involved in many clubs, through which I got lot of exposure. The infrastructure of the university is very scenic and the academic buildings are high tech. Although there are some older buildings in the university where the infrastructure is quite old and needs maintenance, but other than that the new buildings have wonderful infrastructure and are well equipped with lifts and ACs. The connectivity is not good enough though, you have to travel a long distance to move from one class to another. Overall, the buildings are very great.

The campus life has been the best part of the university. The university crowd is an also very good; with ambitious people of different domains interact with each other. There are a lot of clubs or societies in the university and I am a part of a club, which organises a lot of Tech Fests and Hackathons, which gives me exposure to many new things. The university organises many extracurricular activities, which provide students wonderful ground to have a rest from their studies. The biggest cultural fest of Delhi – ‘Engifest’ is also organised in DTU, which feels nothing short of a dream. Overall, the campus life has been amazing.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the university is great. They recently made two large buildings known as AB block with more than 10 floors. It is similar to the newly made girls' hostel. The campus has a large fully air conditioned library with more than 4 floors. The complete campus has a facility of Wi-Fi. It has a large sports complex, a badminton court, and a gym. It has a famous auditorium known as Dr BR Ambedkar Auditorium. Here, seminars and conferences take place. Also, it has a hall known as Raj Soin Hall. Transport facilities are also available for students. There is a fixed timing for the university bus. The transport facility is for the two nearest stations, Badli and Rithala. My favorite thing is the open air theatre. All types of classrooms are air-conditioned and maintained.

DTU has an amazing campus life. I myself rate it 10 out of 10. The campus life is 100 percent better than NSUT. Also, it is not so strict. Although, it has a 75 percent criteria but still life here is amazing. The B.Tech students here are approximately 2500 to 2600. There are a number of societies that help them gain skills, practical knowledge, etc. The annual fest, known as ‘Engifest’, is one of the north India's largest fests. Technical fest known as ‘Invictus’, ‘Aahvan’, ‘Yuvan’, etc. Many events are conducted by the university. It is worth joining, I highly recommend that you join this university.Read Full Review
