Maitreyi College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of the college is quite good. It consists of three different blocks, which are old building, new Science block, and Science block. The campus size is decent of 10 acres. The locality is amazing as it is the embassy area due to which the security is always very high. The classrooms are also of decent size and have the capacity of at least 50 people at a time and 150 people in big rooms. There are science labs, library, seminar halls, 3 auditoriums, and also a amphitheater. The canteen is also good. The favorite thing about this college is its gardens. Maitreyi College has the best rock gardens in the whole DU.

The campus life is good and quite happening. The college is very nice and helpful as students are not arrogant. There are many clubs for each departments. You can be a part of any club that you want. I personally am in corporate and finance society of college. There are many fests and events that keep on happening all around the year. The campus is huge and includes administrative block, science block and an old building. It has one extremely large ground and three huge gardens. The college has labs, lifts, canteen, ice-cream parlor and parking available. The college has a basic medical healthcare unit, laundry services for the residents, Wi-Fi, library, and other facilities. The classrooms don't have AC which makes it difficult in summers.

The overall campus life is fun and jubilant. The annual fest Rhapsody is held every year in April or march and department fests are also held. Diwali Mela, Navratri and regular DJ sessions are held and every occasion or festival is celebrated here. Frequent trips are also organised to various destinations for students. Because the college is in prime location every place isn't very far from college and most cafes or restaurants are situated near the college.Read Full Review

The infrastructure is established with a really beautiful architecture. There are 5+ big gardens for different purposes which look very beautiful and have scenic beauty. Also there is one old building and one new, the old building has worn out classrooms and have less space and does not look nice too but the classrooms of the new building are very well furnished, and have very big space and good amount of benches. The canteen is also good enough and provides different kinds of food items on different days. The library is also very nice and open till 8:00 PM for all the students. There is parking lot too for teachers but not for students.

The overall campus life, since it's a girl’s college people may feel it is lacking, but the truth is that it is not! It is so fun and numerous events are conducted, be it by the clubs, the departments or the college itself! Big fests are conducted In March and competitions are held all round the year.
