IISWBM Kolkata Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The IISWBM hostel for girl’s students is present within the campus and spans across an area of more than 9000 square feet. Also, at the walking distance from the Institute, a 4-storied boy’s hostel building is present named ‘Prantik Hostel’.

A total of more than 60 students can stay at the hostels of the IISWBM. Fully furnished rooms in multiple occupancies with attached washrooms are present within the hostels. The IISWBM hostel fees for an academic year is Rs. 75,000/-.

Students who want to get residential facilities at the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management hostels are required to pay the specified fees.

In order to maintain the peaceful surroundings, every hosteller has to follow the IISWBM Kolkata hostel rules specified by the management; some of these are mentioned below:

• Students who get involved in incoherent acts like ragging, gambling, etc. will face expulsion from the hostels.
• Opposite gender students cannot enter into each other's hostels.
• Interchanging of the hostel rooms without the permission of the wardens is banned for the students.
• No residents can damage the hostel properties intentionally otherwise they will have to pay the fine.
• Students cannot bring pets inside the hostel rooms.
• Consumption and possession of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and others are banned within the premises strictly.

Inside the IISWBM Campus, a girl’s hostel developed on an area of more than 9000 square feet is present which can accommodate around 42 students. Along with this, a boy’s hostel is available at the nearby distance from the Institute which has space to reside around 19 students.

Inside the hostel, furnished rooms in double, triple, and other occupancies with attached washrooms are present for the students to stay at the hostels without any inconvenience.

A large dining hall with seating facility of about 32 students at a time is available where nutritious and quality meals are served.
