There is a placement cell in the institute. It helps students to get jobs in both tech and core companies. Companies like Flipkart, Google, L&T, Tata, etc. often like to visit the campus. The placements in NIT Silchar are excellent. This year the highest placement is 60 LPA and average package is 15 LPA. The training and placement cell is excellent and is trying their best to bring the best companies to the Institute.
