Vivekananda College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus of Vivekananda College is not that huge but provides various academic and non academic facilities to the students. It is located at Vivek Vihar Delhi. There are two building one is old and the other one is newly constructed. The classroom has enough seating capacity. There is a common room and library which has wide range of books for the students. The canteen is available which serves affordable and tasty food to the students. The College also provides sports facilities to the students. Medical facilities and a garden are also available at the College campus.

My campus life so far is pretty good. I belong to a different state and this College is so welcoming. There is always something happening in this College which will keep the students busy. Various fests, events, and competitions are conducted in this College. The students participate in several extracurricular activities and they are very fun too. The infrastructure and the ambience of the Vivekananda College is amazing, it is full of greenery. The College is well maintained. The campus size is about 10 acres with almost 5 acres contributing to various sports activities. The locality of the College is very good; it is in a posh area of Vivek Vihar. The classroom size is good with a seating capacity of about 100+ students, a blackboard and a projector is available. The College has a library with 3 floors, many labs, a seminar hall and an auditorium which also acts as the conference hall. There is a very good canteen with clean and good food facilities at minimum price. My favorite part is the computer labs as they are cozy in winters and refreshing in summers. Labs help a lot in the practical learning, data analysis and much more real life challenges.

The campus life is overall refreshing; it is not very hectic and is good for the students who want to focus on their studies. The College crowd is good; it mostly consists of students who are here for studies. There are many societies and extracurricular clubs for each type of student. There are many extracurricular activities conducted by the College in the regard of sports, singing, dancing, etc. An annual three day fest was organized where the famous singer Prabh Gill was invited to perform. The infrastructure is really nice. You will definitely like it here. The gardens are so beautiful, very well maintained and overall looks picturesque. Also, they have crafted wooden benches with different shapes which give a great look to the garden. The building is also really nice. Cleanliness is maintained. The library is huge, and it consists of three floors, but currently only two floors are operating. You will find academic books and novels too if you are a reading enthusiast. Also, air-conditioned labs are well maintained and the hardwares is working and up to date. There is an administration office for students to ask their queries. There is a fountain in our college. The canteen is also hygienic, clean and very affordable.

The campus life is good. As this is a women college so the crowd is nice and comfortable. There are many clubs and societies in the college that you can join and have fun there and grow your networks. All Society organises their fests in October - February month. Some of the societies are finance and investment cell, consulting, e cell, enactus, painting, dance, singing, dramas, fashion society etc. And most of the society is active. Also, there are NGOs in the society, if you wish to do some social work. Meanwhile, fests such as Diwali fest and Dandiya night do not happen at all which is a bit disappointing.
