Vivekananda College New Delhi

I chose this College because I wanted to study under the guidance of great professors. Various societies are available at the College which provides us great exposure. It is a College for female students only. This College is good for my course and B.Com course. It maintains a balance between the academics and other extracurricular activities. It's been a year since I have enrolled in this College. The College is affiliated with University of Delhi, and is situated in its east campus. As UoD has two major campuses - north and south, the others are categorized as off campuses. Though being an off campus College, Vivekananda College is graded NAAC A+ which is quite similar to some of the south campus Colleges. The institute is very beautiful; with highly maintained gardens. The ambience, classrooms, basic amenities like water cooler, bathrooms, is overall good. My experience was overall good, with qualified and good teachers, fests, good food in canteen and a good crowd. I would highly recommend this College for Maths as it has great faculty in Mathematics department. The teachers understand, and they teach quite nicely. Psychology department of College is quite famous too. The campus is peaceful. The connectivity with the main city of Delhi is fine. It is very to close to Anand Vihar railway station and bus station. You can find many PGs and flats around the College. The area is near Laxmi Nagar which is the hub of coachings for competitive exams. I got into this college through my CUET score. If your score is somewhere between 670-690 then you can expect to get this college in the first round with honors courses. It's a women's college situated in Vivek Vihar and the nearest metros of this college are - Jhilmil and Karkardooma but to reach metro station, you need to take an e-rickshaw every day.Read Full Review
