SPA Vijayawada Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

This would be what I love most about our college. Its infrastructure and how appealing it looks and how everything you need is inside the campus as well. You don't need to go outside for anything. The distance between the hostel, the college, and the mess is at a good distance. I'm very happy about the placement of everything.

Oh the fests here are just spelled bounding and I love how everything is arranged by the students and of course with the help of faculties as well. The clubs here are just great. I love the music club named club ritmo and they even give us free guitar lesson which I'm so excited for and fashion club named club avant grand is so cool as well.Read Full Review

Regarding the infrastructure, SPAV stands in nearly 10 acres of space. It has a spacious central library. There are studios for both undergraduates and postgraduates. The studios are big and comfortable. SPAV has one mess and one cafeteria. The food in the mess is decent and as for the cafeteria the prices are reasonable. There are 3 hostels, one for girls and 2 for boys. The hostels are very clean and comfortable. The hostels have common spaces or rooms which have televisions. The guest house is also available.

Campus life is good, but it's not that enjoyable as B.Arch is a very hectic and time-consuming course. Nevertheless, students conduct different cultural celebrations as it is a central college and people from different states are in the college. Although college funds for the fests, the student body takes up more responsibility. There are cultural fests as well as college fests which are celebrated on a big scale. Clubs are also very active, and there are numerous options to choose from. Club activities are optional and nobody is forced into joining specific clubs.Read Full Review

Our college is designed to be brutalist in appearance- with the commendable suspended cantilever terrace and towering gray blocks. It looks slightly intimidating at first glance. The distance between the hostels and the mess is very less. Similarly, the distance between the campus block and the hostels is a comfortable walking distance. The guest house is close to the mess. There is a canteen in the campus block. There are many services like a carpentry lab, nurse room, printing shop, etc available within the campus. There are multiple stairs and elevators connecting each floor in the campus block, making every floor easily accessible. The basement is used for the parking of automobiles. There is an open gym near the entrance gate as well as has a sports field and a basketball ground.

Campus life in SPAV is never a bore. Here it isn't all about academics. Contribution to various clubs has its own value as well. There are multiple clubs in SPAV like the nature club, tech club, fashion club, music club, dance club, photography club, literature club, and monologue club to name a few. Our college also gives us the opportunity to take part in multiple national competitions and trophies. Our cultural fests are one of the best parts of college life when everyone from different ethnic backgrounds comes together to celebrate each other's unique and beautiful cultures every year. Students work together to arrange multiple games and special food to bring people together for such occasions. Our college festival is the highlight of the year and marks a new beginning for us. It is one of the many reasons why SPAV is as colourful and alive as it is.Read Full Review
