SPA Vijayawada

When I first came into this college the only thing I knew about this college was how it looked and I liked it that way. But as I came here I knew it was more than just the looks it's the place, the people, and everything about it. At first I thought I won't get any friends but I was proved wrong on the very first day I got new friends, new roommates who were all so excited to be my friends. School of Planning and Architecture is a prestigious college for pursuing Architecture in India. One of the many advantages of SPAV is that it is located in the centre of the city of Vijayawada, unlike many central universities. The city is developed and the basic necessities can be easily accessed. Main nodes like railway stations and bus stations are nearby and can be reached easily. The infrastructure is excellent and is surrounded by vegetation. The faculties are experienced and very easy to approach. Students maintain a good relationship with seniors and the Alumni network is strong. The mess provides decent food and the school also has a cafeteria.Read Full Review

I have been in the School Of Planning And Architecture, Vijayawada for about 6 months now, almost completing my second semester. My experience in these few months can be compared to that of a rollercoaster ride- spontaneous and exciting. Perhaps a bit intimidating. It is inevitable that enrolling in an institute of such calibre has its ups and downs. But I'm here for the ride anyway. After completing my senior secondary. I made a list of colleges I wanted to enrol in, with SPAV on the top. I had put a lot of thought into it while picking this college. One of the many reasons was that this was a college that focuses specifically on architecture (and planning). I was sure of what I wanted to be doing. I wanted to learn architecture and architecture alone, and the SPAs are known to be the best place to learn it. Although there are other 2 SPAs. I was still much inclined to join the one in Vijayawada because it was much closer to my hometown in South India. Furthermore, I contacted a few of my seniors to learn about their opinions on the institute and their reviews seemed to be mostly positive.Read Full Review
