Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pune

SIMC has its own hostel at the campus as the rest hostel were shared but SIMC hostel was only for SIMC. It was the smallest of the hostels at the campus but with a countryside view and fully furnished rooms, the hostel became an integral part of our lives. The mess had both veg and non veg food options, so the food part also was sorted. Also, most students who study at the institutes of Lavale stay at the campus as all the MBA courses are fully residential programs. So, interacting with students of various other institutes was possible and that opened gate for learning way beyond our course.Read Full Review

The campus has many hostels but SIMC hostel was again the best. Though small in size as just 60 rooms in all with some four-seater rooms too. The university is clean as a whistle and the hostel was clean as blue waters because the rooms were checked and if they don’t get their rooms cleaned on time, they had to face consequences. The hostel timings were not there for SIMC students as we had no timings. The food was exceptional because the village doesn’t have any proper food outlet so, mess were maintained and they prepared the best food for us.Read Full Review

There are quite a few hostels at the SIU campus, but the SIMC hostel was some hostel. The furnished rooms and attached washrooms made my stay even more comfortable. The fees for sure were high, but one cannot disrespect that Symbiosis has maintained its hostels to be in optimum conditions throughout. All this takes money, and even if we weren’t present our rooms used to get cleaned and even though there were timings of the mess, one just had to inform that they will be late and they will keep your food aside. I don’t think anything else is left to say as hostels were just like home.Read Full Review
