Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Latur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

MIMSR has one of the best infrastructures amongst Maharashtra colleges. It is very peaceful place situated in the outskirts of the city where there is less chaos. It is fully indulged with greenery and the trees everywhere. It has its own hospital attached to the campus. The most fascinating aspect and trademark of MIT is its "dome”. It is pretty huge and fascinating.

The campus and college life is the best over here. Starting from the first year and making new friends and sitting under the trees and gossiping and enjoying a lot with friends will be one of the best memories. Students also participate in quizzes, make ICMR research projects. There are also fests happening in the college including gathering which is at grand level. Students participate enthusiastically in every of them. It also contains Med Talk which guides students for their PG preparation. Infrastructure is quite good but can be favor for betterment. It is well spacious and is good looking as compared to other colleges. If we consider lecture halls, they are student friendly means all students can sit spacious and comfortably. The color of building interior as well as exterior is white which indicate peace and clarity. Also, each and every room or hall is well ventilated with adequate doors and windows.

Campus environment is student friendly. Each and every cultural program is conducted in auditorium and also college organises sport events and many fests for students all over development. College management is very helpful and kind towards arranging all the events. The academic block consists of administrative and departmental offices as well as classrooms for non-clinical subjects. While the clinical departments are all in the hospital building, lecture take place in academic blocks and postings are held in the hospital OPDS and wards OC under respective subjects. The building is not so modern yet equipped with basic facilities.

The college fest takes place but not in grand way as you see in other colleges. The crowd is mostly from nearby region so not different from the local mentality. No clubs or social groups in college. Other extracurricular activities are not much expected. The campus is life is not so happening as the college campus is at city outskirts.Read Full Review
