I study in MIMSR Medical College, Latur. I felt better than GMC Latur. Right now, I’m pursuing 3rd year MBBS, and my journey has been so nice and memorable till now. 2nd year was quite hectic for me, but it was adventurous though. Yes, it does have some cons like not getting stipend to intern but overall, it is nice, and I hope it will somehow change in this aspect. The reason why you should choose this college is the teaching, staff over here is good. It has a digital library and spacious reading room for students opened 24x7 with amenities like AC and well-furnished tables. It provides a good sort of security as girls hostel is in the campus arena. Overall, my college is good.

There are number of courses like MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Optometry in our college. I am pursuing MBBS. For MBBS admission you need to be eligible in NEET UG entrance exam. You should score the cutoff marks for which you get admission in this college. Your state rank decides where you are getting admission. You need to gain at least 50% of marks in your board examination for getting admission and clear your NEET UG exam with good marks. After that your counseling starts. There are 3 rounds which includes last one as mops up round. In this you need to bring your required documents and show to college for getting admission. As MBBS or any other medical field is a noble profession you need to serve people for their betterment and save their lives. It is the only motive to enroll into this profession.

Faculty over here is very nice and all teaching staff is well knowledge and graduated. Every subject has its own respective professor who teaches his/her respective topic. All the professors over here are well qualified doctors from highly dignified institutes. They are very knowledgeable and teach us in very sophisticated manner. Each and every professor has its own teaching method and versatility. The PowerPoint presentations they provide make us well understandable. Overall, the teaching is good.

I don't reside in hostel. I have my own room outside.

MIMSR has one of the best infrastructures amongst Maharashtra colleges. It is very peaceful place situated in the outskirts of the city where there is less chaos. It is fully indulged with greenery and the trees everywhere. It has its own hospital attached to the campus. The most fascinating aspect and trademark of MIT is its "dome”. It is pretty huge and fascinating.

The campus and college life is the best over here. Starting from the first year and making new friends and sitting under the trees and gossiping and enjoying a lot with friends will be one of the best memories. Students also participate in quizzes, make ICMR research projects. There are also fests happening in the college including gathering which is at grand level. Students participate enthusiastically in every of them. It also contains Med Talk which guides students for their PG preparation. Apart from that our college also has Ganesh Utsav Festival, Shivaji Janmotsav, etc. programs conducting.
