Situated in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) has greenery all around the campus. Moreover, the University aims to offer excellent infrastructure & facilities for the overall development of the students.
The ANGRAU campus area covers around 43.50 acres of land. Major facilities provided by the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University include library, laboratories, sports, gymnasium, conference halls, CCTV surveillance, and so on.
The University aims to create a conducive learning atmosphere for the students. Moreover, there are a number of smart classrooms with requisite teaching facilities so that students can gain the world-class knowledge of their domain.
Additionally, the ANGRAU campus has an auditorium namely, ‘Krishna Auditorium’ which is equipped with several high tech multimedia amenities. Moreover, the University’s constituent Colleges have multiple auditoriums, seminar halls and conference halls which are used to conduct conferences, workshops, webinars, seminars & many other events.
Other state-of-the-art amenities available at the ANGRAU campus are Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), central instrumentation facilities, and the list goes on.

- Library: Approximately 13 libraries are managed by the ANGRAU Library System, including University’s library along with its Constituent Colleges. Each library is equipped with approximately 1,05,000 books including textbooks, reference books, etc. Moreover, there are different sections in the libraries including periodical section, reference section, newspaper section, book bank scheme, competitive examination cell, and many others.
Students can also access online educational resources such as e-books, 190+ National & 40+ International e-journals, articles, CDs, and various others in the e-library. Moreover, the University provides access to several platforms including CeRA, DELNET, OPAC, KrishiKosh & so on. Additionally, the library offers remote login services so that students can access all the learning material from anywhere.
- Laboratories: The University has fully equipped computer labs in order to help students in their academics & research work. Additionally, each department such as Agriculture, Engineering, and others have separate laboratories to offer practical exposure to the students. Some of these are 5+ Language Labs, Bioinformatics lab, Seed Quality Analysis lab, Tissue Culture lab, etc.
- Sports: There are a number of grounds and courts available at each College of the University to engage students in several indoor and outdoor sports activities. It includes Volleyball, Football, Shot Put, Basketball, Carom, Badminton, and various others.
The University also organises several intercollegiate events, sports meets, and other tournaments to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the students.
- Hostels: Male & Female students are offered hostel facilities in University’s several Colleges. Around 3220 students can reside in approximately 21 boys’ and 19 girls’ hostels. Moreover, amenities such as Wi-Fi, reading room, dining facilities, health clinics, and many more are available for the residents at the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University Hostels.
- Canteen: Within the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University campus, there is a canteen where students can enjoy various snacks at minimal charges. In addition, several coffee shops are available at the University premises.
- Medical Facilities: The University’s Colleges have ‘Health Clinics’ to provide medical assistance to the students. Moreover, around the clock ambulance facilities are available for emergencies and medical officers are appointed by the authorities on contract basis.
- Gymnasium: Students of the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University are provided indoor & outdoor gym amenities in their respective Colleges with requisite fitness equipment so that they can maintain their mental and physical wellbeing.
At the ANGRAU campus, there are units of National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) to promote holistic development of the students. Along with this, for the same purpose, the University has multiple clubs.
