ANGRAU Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Guntur

The Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Guntur provides separate residential facilities to boys’ and girls’. To provide a home-like feeling to the students, the hostels have a lively, vibrant, and convenient atmosphere.

The Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University has around 21 boys’ and approximately 19 girls’ hostels that can collectively accommodate over 3220 students. The hostel rooms are spacious and available for multiple occupancies.

The constituent Colleges of the University have their own hostel and their fee varies on the basis of the rooms. Students availing accommodation facilities need to pay ANGRAU hostel fees that ranges from Rs. 4300/- to Rs. 4540/-, annually.

Note: The above-given hostel fee only comprises the room rent. Apart from this, there are many other applicable charges which students need to pay such as establishment, mess advance, deposit, etc. which varies based on the constituent Colleges.

The University has set some rules and code of conduct to maintain the decorum of the hostel premises; the details about the same are as follows:

• Ragging is strictly banned and should be avoided in any given circumstances.
• Consuming and possessing illegal substances such as alcohols, narcotics, and drugs should be strictly avoided. Violation of this rule will lead to strict actions against the hosteller including expulsion from the University.
• Hostellers are solely responsible for the safety of their valuable and non-valuable items.
• Residents of the hostel are not allowed to stay outside after 8:00 PM.
• Hostellers are not allowed to modify, remove, and add any equipment from another room to theirs’ and vice versa.
• Students should not use electrical gadgets such as immersion rods, heaters, stoves, etc. Any hosteller found guilty under this act will be confiscated and a fine will be levied.
• Damaging or destroying hostel property will be strictly dealt with punishment of fine and in serious cases, it can lead to expulsion.
• Use of audio systems after the permitted time is strictly prohibited; students are advised to maintain silence to avoid the disruption of peace of fellow inmates.
