The placements are quite good in our university. There is placements and training cell that engages students in various training programs and provides placements and internships. Training and placements cell of NSUT actively calls guest professors for valuable insights. They also call industry experts for their guidance. There are various programs and activities going on during placements like interview preparation, group discussions etc. Some renowned companies, which visit our university, include Apple, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Uber, etc. The average package in our branch is 17 LPA and the highest domestic packages rise upto 60 LPA. Placements are very good in my college. Being one of the best engineering college in India, many companies visit during our on campus placements. The average package is around 10 to 12 LPA. For CSE department, average package is around 18 to 20 LPA. Major companies like Google and Amazon also visit for on campus placements and provide a good amount of packages. Placements season generally starts after 6th semester. internship opportunities start after 2nd semester. Highest package always goes around 1 CPA and lowest around 7 LPA. Around 70% of students in computer science department get placements. Number of companies usually lies around 80. I am a first year student so I don’t have that much idea about number of companies. Some of my friends who are very brilliant in some fields like graphic designing and coding, they already started earning money.Read Full Review
