MDI Gurgaon Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

The only thing that I didn’t like about the college is something that I will mention at the start. Students of MDI are called 'ManDevIans'. Let’s begin with the good things now because I can keep on and on. I passed out recently and therefore the memories are still quite fresh. MDI may not be at par with IIMs but the college has a legacy of its own. The college has constantly ranked among the top 10 B-Schools of India for ages. Just like IIMs. MDI also accepts CAT scores. PGPM of MDI is one of the toughest courses but it’s not like IIMs where the students don’t even have time for themselves. Life at MDI was not that hectic. The hostel timing was 11 pm but many times we have come at 5 am and still got away with a little bit of scolding. The late-night parties that we did at the campus and outside the campus while studying at MDI will be cherished for life. One of the biggest advantages that MDI has is that Gurugram in general has a great industrial connection. This is why placements of MDI even during the pandemic was 100%.Read Full Review

MDI may not be the dream I chased for as I had ICFAI Business School Hyderabad and IIMs in my sight. Missing IIM by the slightest margin allowed me to be a part of an institute which is as good as IIMs. The Infrastructure is better than many IIMs. Academics I believe both the colleges may have taught the same things. Placements wise, we would have made a few lesser lakhs, but it hardly matters as growth is based on your job profile rather than your degree. MDI made sure that students had to work in a group on most assignments given in class. I was a laid back type, and therefore other students in my group used to do the assignments, and for their hard work, I earned the grades. In short, MDI was a novel that will reap a lot of rewards if you read it entirely.Read Full Review

Coming from a humble background both in terms of academics and financially, the world stopped for me when I got the admissions at MDI Gurgaon. My parents couldn’t afford MDI Gurgaon Fees and it took just a matter of days for my loan to get approved. MDI in terms of placements match top three IIMS, i.e., ABC. Most B-Schools today have become shops but this is where MDI is different. Yes, the fees were too high but to combat that, the institute teaches us many special programs and one such was an employability program. My answer will be biased for most answers and I ask for sincere apology for that. However, I have taken care in writing as honest answers as I can and then you can decide yourself, were my answers biased or not. The institute is couples with a great infrastructure and great faculties. Learning was not just the only way as MDI has always believed in an all-round development of students.Read Full Review
