Situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) has a state-of-the-art campus with advanced amenities for holistic development of the students. Within the University premises, there are multiple uniquely designed blocks for various purposes such as academics, administration, hostel, etc.
RNTU Bhopal is developed on 50.64+ acres of land with a buildup area of about 4,16,370 square feet. During the educational journey in the Rabindranath Tagore University campus, students are offered a number of academic & non-academic facilities including central & departmental libraries, auditorium, gymnasium, sports, cafeteria, transportation, and the list goes on with several others.
The academic blocks at the University are equipped with all the necessary facilities which are required by students for their overall growth. Furthermore, approximately 95 classrooms, tutorials, and halls are available at the campus with modern teaching aids to provide effective learning to the students.
An auditorium named, ‘Sharda Auditorium’ present at RNTU campus which covers an area of about 7000 square feet; it has proper seating arrangement and cutting edge AV technology. Moreover, around 2 conference halls & 9+ seminar halls are there at the Rabindranath Tagore University campus where several events, activities, and programs are organised.
Additionally, around 10 workshops, moot court, in-studio, guesthouse, radio station, and several other amenities are provided to the students. Moreover, the University has adequate facilities like ramps, lifts, and wheelchairs for specially abled students.

- Library: The ‘J.P. Choubey Central Library’ of the University is fully computerised and has diverse collection of 86572+ books, 8419+ CDs, 1169+ e-journals, 216+ print journals, 35+ magazines, 7+ e-databases, 17+ newspapers (English / Hindi), etc. The Central Library has seating capacity of around 120 students. Moreover, it offers reprographic, OPAC, remote access, and several other services to the students.
In addition to this, the University has separate department libraries such as Law Library, Pharmacy Library, Education Library, TNSD Library, and Nursing Library. Each one of these libraries can accommodate about 30 students and are stocked with a wide array of learning material.
- Laboratories: The University has approximately 15 Computer & Language labs for the students. All the Computer labs have updated PCs, high speed internet, and other top-notch amenities to cater the academic demands of the students.
Apart from this, around 60 laboratories are there for UG, PG, and Diploma programs in various departments like Engineering, Technology, Science, etc. Some of these are Networking Analysis lab, Chemistry lab, Microwave lab, Communication lab, and many others.
- Sports: The Rabindranath Tagore University campus has a sports area where students can engage in several indoor & outdoor games. There are about 2 Volleyball Courts, Cricket Field, Athletic Track, and Football & Hockey Ground at the University’s sports area. In addition, students can play other games such as Kho Kho, Basketball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, etc.
- Hostels: Separate accommodations are offered to male & female students at University’s on-campus hostels. The University has around 4 hostel blocks and each one of them has accommodation capacity of approximately 85 residents. Also, RNTU Hostel blocks are equipped with advanced amenities including rooms with attached washrooms, mess with dining hall, common rooms, 24/7 water supply, etc.
- Cafeteria: The University’s cafeteria is located in a peaceful ambience and offers a wide range of nutritious meals options at minimal charges. Moreover, Rabindranath Tagore University campus has a newly constructed canteen that is developed over 12,750 square feet area.
- Transportation: Students are offered safe & secure commuting facilities through approximately 20 buses. These buses connect all the areas of the city from Rabindranath Tagore University campus.
- Medical Facilities: There is a ‘Health Care Centre’ at RNTU Bhopal near academic & hostel blocks. The centre has competent medical staff and other adequate amenities to provide emergency care to the students. The University also provides ambulance services to the students.
In addition, the University has tie-ups with well-known hospitals near the campus so that students can get specialised medical care.
- Gymnasium: In order to support students maintain their physical & mental wellbeing, there is a fitness centre or gym with advanced equipment & tools at the campus of the University.

There is a Student Activity Council (SAC) at RNTU Bhopal, which is run by students and has formed approximately 8 clubs; students can participate in any of these clubs for experiencing vibrant campus life.
