Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal offers separate residential facilities to both male and female students within the campus. The Rabindranath Tagore University hostel offers several basic amenities to make sure the students have a pleasant stay.

There are 4 hostel blocks at RNTU Bhopal spread over 40,000 square feet; out of which 3 are for boys’ and 1 is for girls’. Moreover, each hostel can accommodate around 85 students. The Rabindranath Tagore University hostel offers fully furnished rooms with attached washrooms. In addition, the rooms are allotted on a first come first serve basis.

In order to avail the accommodation facilities, the students are required to pay the hostel fee to the respective authorities. The RNTU hostel fees for both male and female students are the same which is Rs. 72,000/- per year.

The RNTU Bhopal has set several rules & regulations to maintain the decorum at the hostel premises. All the residents need to abide by the rules during their on-campus accommodations; refer to the following points to know about the same:

• The residents are not allowed to switch their allotted rooms without the written approval from the assistant warden.
• Students who skip the classes, monthly tests, University exams, etc. are not allowed to continue their stay at the hostel.
• Ragging is considered a crime and any student found guilty under this act get severe punishments.
• All the residents are required to keep their allotted rooms clean & tidy.
• Consumption of alcohol / smoking and possession of any illegal items are banned within the hostels.
• Use of any electrical appliances like heaters, inductions, and others are strictly prohibited inside the room.
• The hostellers have to sign the register kept at the hostel entrance before going out. The students are required to return to the hostel before 8:30 PM (for boys) and 7:00 PM (for girls).
• At the hostels, students cannot organise any parties or social gathering without the prior approval of the warden.

* Hostel authorities will conduct surprise checks periodically and if students found guilty violating the above mentioned rules, disciplinary action will be taken against them.
