This Institute also offers residential facilities for faculties who work here. There are approximately more than 500+ rooms for faculty and every year 500-600 new students join this campus. The girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate but they are allowed to meet outside the hostels. The mess food is not so bad, in fact it is good but many South Indians don't like this because all the food is tasty but not spicy. But hygiene is maintained in the mess. Hostel have some specific rules like parking of bicycle should only be on the ground floor and your work should not be a problem to others. Yes, the Institute provides residential facilities to the students. The hostels are just decent. I am staying in a single AC so I don't have much problem. The mess fee is around Rs. 19,000/-. The girls and the boys mess are common. The hostel rules are not at all strict; the students can go out and come inside whenever they want.Read Full Review

Yes, IIT, Jodhpur has hostels for resident of students. Total number of rooms per floor is about 80 and there are 3 floors per hostels including ground floor. Every hostel has gym, TV room, table tennis room and group study room. Yes boys and girls hostel are separate. Mess food is quite good enough; we are served four times a day. Hostel charges are about Rs. 19,000 per semester. As much there is no timing for hostel it’s just if you come late you have to do entry in register.
