Narayana Engineering College Nellore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of NEC Nellore is excellent with huge auditoriums and everything is really good. The labs have good internet, computers and big projectors. There is even very good air conditioning in the college. There is also a huge library with many books but some of them are really old. There are books related to all the departments in the college. Canteen is big but the food there is average. Snacks are available.

Campus life is not bad. The crowd is also not very high. The faculty manages the crowd quite effectively by putting separate timings for 1st year freshers and the other department in the college. The fests overall are very less along with events. Events are only conducted when there are any festivals. Our college has a vast infrastructure. Narayana Engineering College has three blocks where one block is for Computer Science, Mechanical and Civil department. Second block is for ECE, EEE and third block is for M.Tech and MBA. There is canteen that offers a good quality food to the students. There is central library and technical library where we can study very peacefully. We have cricket net, basket ball court, shuttle, kabaddi court and they provide buses for students. The security for students at Narayana Engineering College is good.

My overall campus life is bitter and sweet both because we have strict rules which we have to follow. There are 70 students from each class and we have separate timings for freshers and seniors. There are different clubs for organising sports activities, technical events, fun activities, etc. We have different types of events every time for entertainment and for technical. We have coding events as well. During festivals we have events based on festivals for Ramzan, Sankranti and Christmas.Read Full Review

There are 3 blocks on the campus. 1st one is for CSE, CIVIL, MECH, 2nd one is for ECE, EEE, and another one is for MBA/MCA. These are the branches with highest student numbers. Campus size is decently big for the kind of area we live in (towns). Facilities like high-class Auditoriums, Seminar Halls, exist in the college. A huge library also exists on the campus, but most of the books there are old ones (before 2015, etc.). You are not allowed to come to the library during class hours. There is minimal attention towards sports. Some buildings/rooms are old and need renovation.

Overall campus life is decent. The crowd is not too much or uncontrollable for the area. There are many hobby clubs and events being conducted on campus. An event is conducted almost every month (E.g.: Sankranti celebrations, Christmas celebrations). In those events, one can participate in acts like singing, dancing, traditional dress competitions, etc. The college is a co-education based. The biggest fests are usually just Fresher's Day fests. Programmes like Google Developer Groups, etc. are also conducted on campus. One can participate in those and up skill themselves.Read Full Review
