SDM Institute for Management Development Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Mysore

The hostels were great as right next to the hostel building was the lone garden on the campus. The hostel was pretty and tidy. One room per person meant no roommates and we could do anything that we wanted. I am a bit messy and my parents were unsure whether I would be able to stay with someone else. Luckily, there were only single rooms and rooms that had all the required things like a table, chair, cupboard and most importantly, attached washrooms. There is a hostel facility for the students but those who have to stay off-campus there are some good PG accommodations nearby and you can reach the campus easily because of the frequent bus facilities there. As of now there’s one girl’s hostel but construction of a new hostel is going on the campus. There are chances that it might be operational by now. Hopefully, our next batch will get to stay on the campus and not have to travel back and forth like us because during our time the hostel had less capacity and I couldn’t find myself a berth because of some ongoing politics. However, we enjoyed the freedom of staying out of the campus. It is another feeling staying on it and unfortunately, I missed it.Read Full Review

Hostels were an ultimate mystery of SDMIMD. We were told during admissions that the College is planning to go residential and then they checked the resources and were like, locals can stay at their homes. I wish it turned into a residential program, but one boys and one girls hostel were not enough to accommodate 480 PGDM students. Hostels are new and look amazing, but I so wished that I had an opportunity to stay there because I have experienced hostel life and I know how amazing it is to live in a hostel.Read Full Review
