Staying in Vadodara and having heard a lot about SEMCOM from childhood, I took admission here. Firstly, I would say that after 12th don’t try to go for B.Com and prepare for entrance of some of the famous colleges to get admission in management UG courses. The reason why I am saying this after doing B.Com, I did MBA and trust me to adapt there was by no means easy. Coming back to SEMCOM, it’s a good college and the name that it has built over the years is for some reasons. SEMCOM may not be a nationwide known college but is one of the best in Gujarat for sure. Being a normal commerce college, the placement can be out of question but not with SEMCOM. The college has transcended its peers in terms of placements. Not just the studies but you will find all kind of talent here. The college students of my college has aced at various state level competitions. SEMCOM is an eminent college with all the commercial courses on offer along with computer application course. With SEMCOM one thing that is guaranteed is that you have chosen your path for the career well. The college is one fortunate college that has backing of its trustees who infuse a lot of money in providing better facilities to the student. The college has produced gold medalists from Sardar Patel University. One can feel free to correct me but I am from Gujarat and trust there’s no commerce college that is better than SEMCOM. If I talk about Infrastructure the building is old but as it was built in 1977 and has remained intact since then. However, the building is lightning white as during the breaks the college makes sure that they get building painted. Talking about the educational point, it is much better than any other commerce colleges in Gujarat. The college holds a value and that is why you can see the campus placements opportunities. Furthermore, the college is nearby various educational institutes and I will have to say that student life is great and to top that there are numerous opportunities for growth as well.Read Full Review
